I'm Back !!!!

Hello my friends,

It has been such a long time since I have blogged.

I am back !!

Life has been crazy but all is good. As many of you know I have been back in the South Bay for a year now and I am ready to leave. I am hopefully moving back to San Fransico in the begining of the year.

I am currently working with a non-profot called Opportunity Impact in San Francisco www.oportunityimpact.org

I am currently running their PR program. It has been a little tough but so much fun. We are having some great fundraising events next year. Hopefully I will see some of you there.

Nothing else is really going on but as soon as soon as something interesting happens. I will be back here to write about it !!!

It is almost here !!! Fashion Week !!!

It's here !! I'm so excited !! Paris fashion week begins on Monday January 26th through January 28th. It is my pleasure to be reviewing the following haute-couture Spring/Summer collections for 2009.

Look forward to my reviews about the spring summer 09 collections on my page. Here is a list of designers to watch. Dior, Chanel, Chrsitian Locroix, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Valentino. I am so excited to share this with you. I hope you learn and enjoy these fashions as much as I do.

By the way Amigos. New York fashion week begins February 13th, 2009 through February 20th. You can be sure that I will be watching this week and sharing my thoughts about my favorite collections for fall of 2009. Here is a glimpse of what is in store. I will be following Zac Posen, Diane Von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera, William Rast, and the list goes on.

I am saddened that Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs are not listed to show at either event :(

Half Nelson and A Guide to Recognizing your Saints.

Last night I was in the mood to watch a movie. So, I ended up watching two movies. The two movies I watched were from the Sundance film festival in 2005 and 2006.
The first movie I watched was called A Guide to Recognizing your Saints. Staring Robert Downey Jr and Rosario Dawson. Two of my favorite thespians.

Guide to Saints was about a boy named Dito who lived in Astoria Queens, New York in the 80's. The movie showed how life in queens was at that time as a teenager and how Dito just wanted to get out of that life. Dito eventually leaves New York and moves to California and becomes a successful writer and does not return to Queens until twenty years later when his father is dying. The movie is very sad and emotional but over all I give it 4. 5 stars.


Half Nelson is a story about a jr. high teacher (Ryan Gosling) in the inner city who is addicted to drugs. He had been a coke addict for most of his life. He can control his addiction to where it does not affect his job or social life. In the movie Ryan Gosling is the girls basketball coach as well. All the children love there teacher and coach. There is one student (Dre) who plays a significant role in the teachers life. This movie is very intense and had its moments that make you want to say WTF ( That means what the funny). This movie was nominated for an Oscar and it won the grand jury award at the Sundance film festival in 2006. I would give this movie 5 stars.

Who is OIivia Palermo Friend or Foe ?

Hello my friends,

I don't know how many of you watch The City on MTV. I must say that it is one of my favorite shows in TV right. Don't judge me I am a fan of The Hills and also a fan of Whitney Port.

For those of you who don't know what The City is. This is a show that follows Whitney Port from The Hills as she follows her fashion career with designer Diane Von Furstenberg. The show is the same format as The Hills except in New York. Which is actually very cool because New York is amazing !!!

This brings to my point. There is a person who stands out in the show. Olivia Palermo.

Who is Olivia Palermo my friend? She is an Upper Eastside Social (that means Socialite). Olivia is a PR girl at Diane Von Furstenberg. She has befriended Whitney and is trying to make her be an Upper Eastsider just like her.

On the contrary my friend we do not now what Olivia's intentions are can she be trusted or not?? We will have to wait and see. I just hope that she does not turn to be a female Spencer Pratt.

On a side note: If anyone watches Gossip Girl. Is Olivia the real life Blair Waldorf because I see the resemblance ?

I plan on doing a full background check on this girl and seeing what's she is about. Stay Tuned for that.

OMFG !! Please say it ain't so.

I was on one of my celebrity gossip website and came across a very disturbing picture of Donatella Versace. I can not confirm that the pictures on the website are her but after thinking about it carefully I would not be surprised.

I know we desire to be thin but this is ridiculous. I can't believe that one of the most powerful women in fashion would look like this. Diane Von Funstenburg would never do this. I apologize for the following pictures. This is what happens when one does to much coke, tanning, and boozing. You end up looking like beef jerky.

It's hard to believe that Donatella is only 53 years old. That is what is sad :(
